How it works
From buying to installed in four steps.
Make an account
Sign up with your email on the account page. It's free, and it's where your keys are kept.
Buy a Paid key
Pay £5 by Bitcoin, Solana or UK bank transfer. Your key appears in your account and in your email once the payment is confirmed.
Download Ghost Hub
On your Android phone, download Ghost Hub. Android asks to allow installs from your browser: tap Settings, switch on Allow, then go back.
Enter your key
Open Ghost Hub and type your key in. It locks to your phone. Tap Install on any app, and Update all keeps them current.
What a key is
A key (like GHST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is your licence to use Ghost apps. Ghost Hub checks it with our server, and the apps check with Ghost Hub on your phone. Without a key, the apps show a screen asking for one.
Each key works on one phone: the first one that enters it. That stops keys being shared, and keeps yours yours.
What you need
For the apps: an Android phone or tablet with Android 8.0 or newer, and the internet for installing, updating and checking your key now and then.
For Ghost Setup: a Windows 10 or 11 PC and an administrator account. No key or account needed.

Do Ghost apps work on iPhone?
No. Ghost apps are Android apps, and iPhones and iPads can't install them. You need an Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 or newer.
How do I pay for a Paid key?
Make a free account, then tap Buy. You can pay with Bitcoin or Solana, sent straight from your wallet, or by UK bank transfer. Crypto keys arrive by themselves a few minutes after the payment confirms. Bank transfers are checked by hand, usually within a day or two.
Is it really a one-off payment?
Yes. £5 once, with every update and any new app offered to Paid keys included. There's no subscription and nothing renews.
Can I get a refund?
If your key never arrived, doesn't work, or you paid twice, we'll put it right or refund you. Because a key is digital content that's sent to you straight away, the usual 14-day right to change your mind ends once it's been sent. The refunds page has the details.
Why aren't the apps on Google Play?
Ghost apps come straight from Ghost Hub instead. Android asks you to allow installs the first time, from your browser for Ghost Hub, then from Ghost Hub for the apps. That's normal for apps from outside Google Play.
Are they safe to install?
Every Ghost app is signed by Ghostavix, and Ghost Hub checks each download's fingerprint before installing it. Android also refuses any update that isn't signed the same way, so nobody else can replace a Ghost app on your phone. The downloads page lists the fingerprints so you can check them yourself.
What if I get a new phone?
Each key locks to the first phone that uses it. If you change phones, email us from your account's email address and we'll move it.
An app says it needs a Ghost key. What do I do?
Open Ghost Hub with the internet on, so it can check your key, then go back to the app and tap Try again. If you haven't entered a key yet, open Ghost Hub's Settings and type it in.
Does Ghost VPN cost anything extra?
No. It connects through free servers run by volunteers for the VPN Gate project, using the free OpenVPN for Android app. Ghost VPN helps you install that the first time.
Is Ghost Setup safe for my PC?
It makes a Windows restore point before it changes anything (unless you untick it), and it only downloads from Windows Update, AMD and the Microsoft Store. It doesn't touch your files, your antivirus or Windows Update settings. Read what each switch does before you press Start.
What do the apps collect?
As little as possible: no ads, no trackers and no accounts inside the apps. The privacy page lists exactly what each app sends and where.
